Changes to Labor Law – One Year Later

In 2023, Michigan reversed longstanding school labor law and broadened bargaining rights for teacher unions. In 2024, dozens of teachers’ unions around the state demanded to bargain over the topics of teacher evaluation, discipline, placement, and layoff and recall. The keynote speaker will examine where we are one year later and provide guidance on moving forward in this new labor landscape.
